I've had a long history in the Information Technology going back over 20 years. Currently working as a network administrator for a Logistics company based in Maryland. My responsibilities includes managing our network infrastructure ranging from managed switches to our high availability firewalls. I'm also involved in providing security for our production environment utilizing the latest trends including next-gen AV solutions, enhanced security through gp, and always revising our threat assessment policies to make sure we have a robust policy to handle threats if and when the arrive. To stay up on the latest trends and threats, I'm always reading various articles and vendor sites to learn how to protect our company. I also routinely engage with industry leaders to see what is their best practice when updating, configuring, and maintaining our production environment infrastructure. Realizing that our employees are the companies 1st of defense against various hacks by either email or social engineering, we work diligently together by information sharing and training to prepare everyone on how to recognize various forms of cyberattacks and the proper response we should apply to protect our company.
