About Peter Tinkler

While my preferred area of interest is the study and exploration of the human form, I believe versatility, in both artistic style and technique, to be imperative to artistic development and ability. Life offers us a range of challenges; and an artist’s role, in many ways, is to record and document these encounters, however different from one another. While I understand the absolute importance of maintaining a grounded technique that is signature to the individual, I also understand the necessity of being able to adapt as an artist; to work to a brief that might extend beyond one’s preferred aesthetic.
