About Peter van der Eijk

FinTech Savy Associate Senior Audit Manager within the Audit & Assurance practise of Deloitte (Sydney). This with a specialisation on fast growing neobanks, challenger banks,(mutual and foreign) banks, FinTech start-ups and ASX listed companies. My focus is on FinTech's such as; Australia’s first neobank, its first smart bank, flexible loan solution providers,(listed) buy now, pay later entities, fast loans providers, authorised deposit taking institutions, foreign exchange as well as finance payment solution providers. I am an Independent Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee at Fleurieu Aquatic Centre as well as Coffs Harbour Regional Council and Skate Australia. I am also an Independent Member of several other Audit & Risk Committees. In addition, I have gained full membership with the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA ICAEW) and the Institute in South Africa (SACA). I recently completed my Company’s Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and my Master’s in Accountancy (University of London). I am currently in progress of obtaining my USA CPA. Post graduation, I will complete my registration with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) to become a Registered Company Auditor (RCA). This with the (long term) objective and my future aspirations to fulfil a role as an External Audit Partner.
