VanBeck Dentistry is a family dental practice owned by Dr. Peter VanBeck, located at 2411 Oak Valley Drive, Suite 300, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103. We are located behind the Target shopping center in Ann Arbor. At VanBeck Dentistry, we believe in going the extra mile for patients, giving them an experience unlike any other they’ve ever had. From the modern, yet calming atmosphere and lighting to the friendly staff, patients immediately notice what sets us apart. We take care of patient dental concerns on the same day, when possible, and we follow up with patients on their care. To us, patients are like family. Dr. VanBeck lives in Ann Arbor with his wife Jennifer, son Jacob, and daughter Lila. Before practicing dentistry, he had a completely different career: he is an accomplished concert pianist with a master’s and doctorate of musical arts. In his “life before dentistry,” Peter travelled and performed with several symphony orchestras across the US and Europe, winning numerous national and international awards. Later he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a dentist. Consequently, he went back to school to receive his Dental degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He has since completed advanced training in restorative, crown and bridge work, extractions, and botox and dermal filler administration. Dr. VanBeck remains active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, and the Michigan Dental Association. He is devoted to honing his skills through continuing education and incorporating the latest research into his treatment. While dentistry is Dr. VanBeck’s passion, he still expresses his love of music by playing at home for himself and groups of friends. He is also an avid reader of Spanish literature.
