Currently working at Harris Corp.(Formerly Exelis, Space Computer Corp.) as the Lead Engineer supporting programs for the U.S. Air Force and Army. Responsibilities include: • Circuit board design and layout using Mentor Graphics PADS.(also familiar with Eagle, KiCAD and MG Capture). Includes all aspects of the manufacturing process: Quotes, BOM, fabrication/population, inspection and testing/production. • VHDL design and implementation on Xilinx Spartan 3A, 6 and Virtex 5 FPGA's. • Lead technical engineer on several system production runs: creating build documentation and test procedures, managing technical resources and troubleshooting. Previously, 5 years industrial experience at Hamilton Sundstrand working in cross-functional teams, directly with customers and on multiple projects in parallel. My division developed and manufactured chemical sensors and analytical instruments for U.S. government customers. • Expertise in R&D projects through prototyping and first article production. • Production support including obsolescence issues, manufacturing cost reduction, and trouble-shooting support.
