About Peter Vanneck

Peter works as an independent risk analyst and decision support expert advising companies by performing and assisting with financial feasibility studies, investment analysis, cost estimations, business analytics, spreadsheet modeling, project risk management, cost and schedule risk evaluations, monte carlo simulation and real option valuations. He also works as an ad-hoc trainer and consultant for Palisade in the EMEA region providing advice on the implementation of risk software. Peter is also founding partner and acting managing director of Brocap (Brownfield Capital Partners) who manages investment funds on behalf of private investors for brownfield redevelopment and complex real estate development projects in Belgium. He mainly performs and manages the financial real estate and environmental assessment and follow-up of these projects. Peter has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering of the University of Ghent (Belgium) and a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering of the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He performed part of his Ph.D. research and studied during that time at the University of Texas at Austin (USA). He also obtained an additional Master's Degree in Real Estate Management from the Antwerp Management School (Belgium). He holds a certificate in Strategic Decision-Making and Risk Management from the University of Texas at Austin (USA). Peter is also passionate about data science and business analytics and obtained several certificates in this domain: data analysis from LSE, data science in real estate (from MIT), data science and big data analytics (from MIT), postgraduate in data science and business analytics (from UT Texas, ongoing). Peter teaches as an Executive Professor at the Antwerp Management School and as a guest lecturer at the University of Manchester, UK. He is certified by the RICS, is a member of the Society of Decision Professionals, member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and certified as a PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) and he is also a member of the Real Estate Society in Belgium.
