About Peter Villari
My sales career started as soon as I graduated from Northeastern, in 1985. I was hired by Ingersoll Rand and spent almost 20 years with the company, growing from an air compressor product specialist, to a group sales and service manager, to the business director of Asia Pacific. My work with Ingersoll Rand took me around the world; I worked in five different states and over twenty different countries, residing in South Africa and Hong Kong while I serviced southern Africa and all of Asia, including India and Australia. As much as I loved being in the corporate world, I ultimately left my job with Ingersoll Rand to return to the family business, located in Somerville, Massachusetts, and set up roots for my kids. Currently, I am the Vice President of Sales for North Star Uniforms and Linens, a company my grandfather and great uncle created upon emigrating from Italy in the pursuit of the American Dream.
