About Peter Voss

As a Process Specialist, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency in the production of high-quality cheese and whey ingredients. I perform advanced troubleshooting on machinery and processes, using data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. With a strong understanding of cheese make, conversion, and whey/permeate processes, I support the development of new systems and procedures for dairy production. I analyze laboratory and process data to identify trends, address deficiencies, and drive continuous improvement. I also develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and cleaning processes, ensuring full compliance with Quality Assurance standards. Over the past 12 years, I have successfully managed cross-functional teams and implemented quality management systems that have enhanced productivity and reduced waste. My initiatives in process optimization have resulted in significant cost savings. Employers in my field seek professionals who can drive operational excellence and lead teams effectively. By integrating lean principles and mentoring team members, I have consistently delivered results that align with business goals. My ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements makes me an asset to any organization aiming for sustainable growth. Outside of work, I am passionate about faith and family, which provide me with a strong foundation and values that I bring to my professional life. I love being out on the water, and I enjoy strategy and puzzle games, which I find to be a great way to unwind and sharpen my problem-solving skills.
