For 18 months I worked as a Dell Engineer spending my days visiting home users, School's, Universities & Businesses to complete Desktop Support Duties. These duties include hardware replacements to Dell Computers & Dell Laptops. Replacement hardware include NEW keyboards, hard drives, Wifi cards, Input/Output Boards, touchpads, bezels, screens, motherboards, memory, cables & the lot! My journey continues as an IT Service Desk Technician/Desktop Support Technician for The Chemist Warehouse Group - 5 years and counting! This role exposed me to much more experience and knowledge to complete Service Desk duties & also Desktop Support duties. I use my Communicational skills over the phone to assist end users to fix their issues & where required I will visit the store to escalate and resolve the issue. As the only Tech in WA, I have a duty to setup ALL NEW WA Chemist Warehouse stores (Computer hardware & Software), I have also been fortunate to Travel Interstate to do the same duties. My travels have allowed me to visit South Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales & Tasmania. Over my years of travel, I have been able to build a Relationship with Owners, State Managers & Staff. With this relationship I am of great help to them over the phone when issues occur.
