I believe in customer centricity as the way to service excellence. In view of climate change, we are called upon to consider sustainability as a prerequisite for customer satisfaction. Thus, service has to become green to inspire customers effectively.Ever faster changing markets, led to upward pressure on the willingness from executives and on their speed to continuously rethink, overcome and adapt their traditional ways of doing business. Standstill is a step backwards. This has been evident throughout my entire career, whether it was by transforming business models for leading companies either in the automotive or retail sector, by establishing a green energy business unit or as member of the board by realizing the transformation of service and distribution to sustainability. As an experienced manager, I know that any kind of transformation will only work, if employees are empowered and have the chance to participate as well as to take responsibility. There will be no customer enthusiasm without employee enthusiasm. So, inspire your employees and make them a responsible part of the game! It will work!
