A passionate driven leader with extensive experience in managing people in teams up to 250+ people in a diverse range of roles, across different industries and business disciplines (manufacturing, project management, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, sourcing, compliance, warehousing, transport and logistics). Today I am in a APA Regional role and manage $80 – 100M inventory, approx. SKUs across 5 countries and breadth of role includes procurement, sourcing, planning, warehousing and distribution to deliver an exemplary customer experience whilst aligning the some 180 strong team to the company's supply chain's strategy. In my previous global roles the business operated in 40 countries, manufactured in 5 countries and sold products into 100 countries with a revenue up to $2.2B USD. The supply chain was set up on a complex hub and spoke model managing $250M+ inventory. WHS held – SKUs and physically moved pieces/week. I am a results orientated person with a proven track record in process optimisation, waste elimination and driving costs out of organisations. In my global role, I reduced warehousing costs by 65%(circa $2.2M to $0.75M per mth). My Black Belt in Six Sigma methodology and experience in implementing Lean Warehousing enables me to engage / empower teams and to develop a continuous improvement culture. Supporting these initiatives has been my ability to gain advantage through contract management, dealing with complex negotiations and solving complex problems. I am adaptable and flexible to different environments and responsibilities and my key strengths are building and executing strategies, driving change by understanding people and processes and being able to develop and implement creative solutions.
