With over 25 years of experience in web development, I have a passion for creating online products and services that are user-friendly, accessible, and innovative. I work as a Senior Web Developer at Community Servers, a small application development company that specializes in LAMP development and has built sites and licensed its technology to clients such as O'Reilly Media, SAP, Sonoma Water, and many local non-profits. I am responsible for all aspects of application design, project specification, documentation and custom programming using PHP, Perl, MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, WordPress, Bootstrap, DataTables, HTML, CSS, and more. I also have expertise in creating mobile/responsive web applications, XML client and API development and integration, ESRI/ARCGIS and Google Maps integration, geocoding and marker clustering, site search, SEO, analytics, catalog, ordering and shopping cart systems, payment systems, and various APIs. I enjoy working closely and effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and learning new skills, languages, and industries.
