Greetings everyone! I’m Peter Wong. As a Financial Controller at Snuneymuxw First Nation, I oversee the financial management and reporting of the nation's operations and programs, including healthcare, education, social services, economic development, and infrastructure. I have over 12 years of experience in public sector accounting, working with various indigenous and municipal organizations across Canada.I have a strong background in IT, science, and engineering, with a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, and several certifications in IT and network administration. I am also pursuing a MicroMaster program in Supply Chain Management from MITx, and a CFA designation, to enhance my skills and knowledge in data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic decision making. I am passionate about applying my analytical and communication skills to support the financial sustainability and well-being of the communities I serve.Disclaimer: 1.
