About Peter Wurst

I graduated from the University of California, Riverside in June 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting & Auditing, and from the University of Southern California in August 2020 with a Master of Business Taxation degree. While I enjoy and am pursuing a career in Accounting, I am open to any opportunity from which I can learn, or to share my skills with others. Accordingly, I have set goals flexible enough to enable me to pursue opportunities presented, yet firm enough to remain on track. At Old Republic National Title Insurance Company I learned about real estate, property rights, and construction; at the Hotel Shattuck I learned more about business operations, strengthened my financial accounting skills, and had the opportunity to research and solve problems; at Mountain View Middle School I was able to assist students with grasping concepts; at the University of California I had the opportunity to work closely with a knowledgeable accounting professor, and had exposure to other students' perspectives (their interpretation of and response to questions); at SquarMilner (now Baker Tilly) I started and developed my tax compliance skills; and at Armanino I deepened my knowledge of tax compliance and developed and managed staff. I continue to look forward to more engaging work in Accounting as a CPA.
