About Peter Zapata

I have a background in nutrition and a MPH, the focus of my work lies in the intersection of these two disciplines. I am passionate about public health nutrition. I currently do this by helping improve peoples' quality of lives by helping them reach their own dietary related and lifestyle goals. I aim to change peoples' perspectives by reaching them where they are. I aspire to enable clients to choose healthier lifestyles of their own volition. While my focus is nutrition, this is only one factor to consider when helping someone change their lifestyle for the better. In order to make a significant and lasting impact, I believe it is also necessary to address self-care by way of stress management and exercise as well. By exposing people to a healthier lifestyle and guiding people to make healthier choices, I believe this empowers them not only to improve their own quality of life, but it also has the potential to start a cascading effect that impacts those around them. In this way, positive change can impose itself.
