About Petteri Ormio

I’ve always believed that real progress in industry doesn’t come from shouting the loudest, but from listening, asking better questions, and solving what truly matters. After 20+ years in enterprise software and sales, from leading international teams at Microsoft and Qlik to launching new operations across Europe, I co-founded Green Factory AI to tackle a challenge that kept coming up: factories have more data than ever, but less clarity on what to do with it. I’m driven by a simple idea: technology should work with people, not overwhelm them. That’s why I focus on practical AI that helps manufacturers reduce waste, improve yield, and regain control, without needing to rebuild everything from scratch. What motivates me is seeing the shift when teams stop firefighting and start making confident, informed decisions. When sustainability becomes part of operations, not just reporting.
