About Petteri Uoti

Petteri Uoti is a highly recognised expert in employment law and dispute resolution. His labour law practice is focused on employment dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration, and employment law issues relating to mergers and acquisitions and company restructurings. He also frequently advises employers on a broad range of employment law issues, including establishing human resource policies in Finland, drafting of employment-related contracts and individual and collective dismissals. Mr Uoti's dispute resolution practice concentrates on commercial litigation and arbitration, especially employment and competition law issues. His clients consist mainly of multinational and foreign businesses and their subsidiaries in Finland, and Finnish large- to medium-size companies. He also represents governments and international organisations. Mr. Uoti is a member of the Finnish Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is also the Finnish board member of EELA, the European Employment Lawyers Association. Mr. Uoti has written several books and articles on dispute resolution and employment law. He also lectures regularly on both topics.
