About Peyton Cope

Peyton Cope is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with her Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Her thesis and dissertation, which included an empirical research study, examined leadership style and correlated attitudinal organizational outcomes. It included a newly created measurement to asses job demands and resources, and was distributed to seven universities and two professional organizations. She is an anchor for community growth within any organization she is a part of due to her deep-seated commitment to connecting and supporting others. She is a responsive team member who can be relied on to efficiently finish tasks while adapting to the sometimes ever-changing landscape of a business setting. She thrives in challenging, flexible environments with high amounts of collaboration and creative problem solving. She can confidently lead a team to effectively complete projects, but is also happy to be a team player. She works best in organizations that support their employees to develop their own sense of self-efficacy and identity within their roles, and with other people who have a similar focus on community and organizational enrichment. Two of her biggest assets as an employee are her time management skills and her efficiency in task completion. Her career philosophy is centered around building relationships and personal development. She is a life-long learner who thrives best when she is being challenged and learning new things. Her natural autonomous personality lends itself well to personal and team work tasks, but she is her best self when she is working closely with others. She values openness, inclusivity and innovation in herself and others. My core competencies include. organizing and creating effective time management strategies for both myself and my team, fostering teamwork through leading by example and supporting team members, frequently seeking opportunities to develop more experience and knowledge, working cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions, and taking the initiative to seek collaborative, close relationships with peers and leaders in my industry.
