About Peyton Turner

ROBERT P.(“PEYTON”) TURNER, was born in Marshallville, Georgia, July 31, 1974, and was admitted to the Bar in Georgia in 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (B.S, 1998) and Mercer University (J.D, 2001). During his time at Mercer, Peyton spent a summer attending law classes at Oxford University, in Oxford, England. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Columbus Bar Association. Additionally, Peyton is admitted to practice in the Middle District of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Peyton’s practice focuses on the Title Examinations, Preparation of Wills, Probate Matters, Landlord and Tenant matters, and Land Disputes (including the resolution of title defects). His probate practice includes the Probate and Administration of Estates, Petitions for Year's Support, and the representation of Guardians and Wards in Guardianship/Conservatorship Petitions. Peyton also has experience as the Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem in Probate matters. Peyton is married to Kristin Clarkson Turner who is the Principal at St. Anne Pacelli Catholic School in Columbus, Georgia. They have one daughter and attend St. Anne Catholic Church in Columbus. Peyton is a member of a competition Barbecue Cooking Team, and enjoys college football Saturdays.
