About Phaedra Johnstone

My communication skills began to establish at a very young age when I saw that creative speaking and setting a scene - a situational narrative - had influential outcomes. I was writing short stories at the age of 7. I have a knack for empathy, and understanding multiple perspectives and view points, which I bring into relationship building. I love working for causes I am passionate about - particularly giving a voice to those who do not have one or offering support so that others can achieve full potential. If I can get my teeth into a complex business issue, and use my talent for creative solutions to support these causes - all the better! My talent for innovative problem solving and influence has taken me into a variety of roles, all of which have a running theme of building excellent relationships. I have grown client bases, onboarded new clients, nurtured partnerships and led diverse teams. The aligning factor in all of these is understanding, respect and trust. My teams know this is how I operate, and I extend the same nurturing ethic to clients, partners and suppliers - I want to see everyone succeed, and I’ll do everything I can to support that. I’m always looking to create lasting positive impact on people, organisations or wider society. Out of work I am to be found indulging my passion for the arts and caring for my 3 amazing children. I enjoy growing veggies, walking in nature and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
