About Phan Cong Quy

From a salesman riding my motorbike across provinces to National Sales Director managing nationwide operations — my career journey in FMCG, industrial goods, and telecommunications is defined by tenacity, strategic market expansion, and ecosystem building with partners, clients, and government stakeholders that enable fast, large-scale execution. I began humbly as a salesman at Unilever, visiting shops, taking orders, and opening outlets one by one. Through perseverance and consistent performance, I advanced step by step: from FMCG to industrial goods (Yamaha Motor, BlueScope Steel, Daewoo Electronics) and later to telecommunications (Vietnamobile)—from provincial manager to regional leader, and ultimately to National Sales Director. Today, I lead nationwide operations with full P&L accountability, balancing growth, profitability, and people development in highly competitive markets. Over the years, I have delivered tangible results: expanding distribution to hundreds of distributors and dealers, and retailers nationwide, achieving 20–25% YoY growth, building and leading sales teams of employees, and executing multiple national go-to-market strategies. These achievements were enabled by a powerful ecosystem of business partners, government authorities, and exceptionally talented colleagues. Together, we have delivered multi-channel projects (B2C, B2B, B2G, and online) requiring digital transformation, precision execution, and large-scale coordination. I believe in lifelong learning. I hold three university degrees and an MBA, proof of my commitment to unlearning and relearning to stay ahead of business management and digital transformation trends. Alongside my corporate leadership, I serve as a visiting lecturer and business trainer at FPT’s School of Business (FSB – FPT University) on weekends, where I share practical insights with MBA students and entrepreneurs. Teaching keeps me connected, relevant, and ready for the fast-changing business and technology landscape. My story is more than just climbing the career ladder—it is about grit, adaptability, and sustainable growth: for myself, for my teams, and for the organizations I proudly serve. These foundations will continue to guide me through current responsibilities and future opportunities and challenges, with openness to collaboration and innovation.
