About Phani Kumar P.

I’m a Data Engineer / BI Engineer with 20+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data foundations that power analytics and business insights across complex EDW and lakehouse environments. My strength is building highly scalable systems to ingest, process, store, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data. I’ve led and delivered multiple ETL/ELT and data integration initiatives end-to-end—requirements, data modeling, pipeline development, optimization, and production support—helping teams turn data into reliable, decision-ready outputs.I’ve worked with modern cloud and big-data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks/Spark, dbt Cloud, Airflow, and BI tools like Power BI and Tableau. I also emphasize data quality and observability (including Bigeye) to improve trust, monitoring, and SLA-driven reliability for data products.Beyond hands-on engineering, I enjoy partnering with stakeholders, driving delivery, and mentoring teams to build maintainable and scalable solutions.Core Skills: Data Engineering • BI Engineering • Data Warehousing • Data Lakes/Lakehouse • ETL/ELT • Orchestration • Data Quality & Observability • Performance Tuning • Team LeadershipTech Stack: AWS • Azure • Snowflake • Mainframes • COBOL • JCL• Databricks • Spark • dbt Cloud • Airflow • Fivetran • SQL • Python • Oracle • Power BI • Tableau • Jenkins • GitHub • Bigeye
