About Phi Nguyen

Hello everyone! As a recent UCONN graduate with a passion for challenging myself and problem-solving, I’m looking to put my passion into work as a data analyst, underwriter, & business/management analyst! My drive for finding creative solutions has helped me achieve my Accounting, Business, and Economics degrees, while also guiding those I’ve encountered in my work as a ballroom dance instructor. My problem-solving, time management, and communication skills all worked to provide confident feedback, instruction, and planning for my students in a way that made them feel comfortable and able to learn effectively. I look forward to bringing these skills into my business career. As I stepped away from teaching ballroom dance and continued with my studies, I got the chance to- Enhance my analytical, technological, and business management skills - Gain experience with programs such as Excel, Minitab, and Java (I am also interested in learning Python and SQL)- Learn how to brainstorm new ways to solve problems quicker and more efficiently I also love learning new skills/hobbies and am continuously working on becoming the best version of myself. Some of the things I’ve learned about myself so far are:* I'm a detail oriented, analytical, & diligent account payable specialist with a mindset of getting the work done on time regardless of the challenges.* Passionate about using technological & creative methods to resolve critical problems.* Always learning & improving new skills for my own self-desired.
