About Phil Bieber

With over sixteen of experience in the education sector, I am a passionate and creative solutions specialist who thrives on developing and implementing innovative and impactful projects for the Vermont Oxford Network (VON), a nonprofit organization that supports neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) worldwide. I am motivated by the mission of improving the quality and safety of care for newborn infants and their families, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a former teacher, co-founder, and executive of a startup, and a sponsored executive of a nonprofit. In my current role at VON, I leverage my expertise in Google's G-Suite, customer relationship management (CRM), and automation to design and execute a variety of solutions for the organization and its stakeholders. For example, I created an automated academic abstract submission system that handles faculty feedback and iterative submissions, replacing a third-party paid software solution. I also managed an academic poster session consisting of 300 posters for 1500 conference participants, and facilitated the communication and collaboration of neonatologists across the globe through the use of G-Suite. Additionally, I support the executive vice president in organizing and executing multi-faceted projects for the clinical faculty of neonatologists, enabling them to develop quality improvement initiatives for NICUs. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to apply them to solve real-world problems.
