I am an award-winning law enforcement professional with nearly two decades of experience, specializing in strategic leadership and program management. Certified as a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Statewide instructor, I have led critical training programs on Active Shooter and Threat Assessment/Risk Management, contributing to significant safety improvements to companies, personnel, and customers.Throughout my career, I have overseen administrative and criminal investigations, managed teams of over 100 officers and civilian staff members and fostered key relationships with legislators and community groups. In my most recent role as Chief Law Enforcement Officer for the California Highway Patrol, I managed two (2) counties containing over residents and significantly reduced fatal crashes and DUI fatalities during my tenure. Prior to that, I served as a Lieutenant Commander and Lieutenant, managing operations and personnel in diverse geographical areas throughout California.With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California Coast University and a comprehensive list of certifications and trainings, including Middle Management Training, Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute, and Active Shooter/Attacker Instructor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any Director of Security role.
