Background
About Phil Eaglesham
I have experience in partnership & collaborative working in addictions, mental health, HIV & health improvement initiatives spanning organisational and political boundaries. I developed experience in the community justice & homelessness settings. I worked for 25 years in the public health field, and gained experience of local authorities and national government with project development and strategic implementation. I developed and refined policy and strategy at local and regional level informed by commissioning research, analysing data and publishing findings for national reports. I have experience and skills in operational project development and implementation within a challenging strategy and policy context. I have a genuine passion for both the involvement of communities and promotion of a social model of health and wellbeing. I have expanded my skills to include coaching as an internal and external coach via the Scottish Coaching Collaborative. I have been a member of several bands and collaborations and as a solo recording artist. Music has been released by Moksha Recordings, Blast First, Mute/EMI, Black Circle, Midmarch & Rock Action Records. I run a label, Naloxone Sounds releasing digital, cassette & DVD material. I work as a guide for the Glasgow Music City walking tour. Hence the quirky profile title. I have performed a series of collaboration pieces with FK Alexander, volunteer performance practice with a series of artists and arts companies; Peter McMaster (Scotland), Nicole Colbiere (Wales), El Conde de Torrefiel (Spain), Felope and the Tubes (Scotland) and Wojciech Kosma (Poland/Berlin), Cyan Mica (USA/Berlin).
