I have been with Halfords for the past 14 years and previous to this I was working for Woolworths Plc for 12 years. My last position with Woolworths was as a senior store manager in one of the top 20 volume stores in the business. During my time with Woolworths I worked and managed new concepts stores which gave me an insight into different area outside of non food. The areas experienced were food, Pharmacy & Health and beauty. Woolworth’s general stores traded for 3 years before investment in the concept was stopped due to high operating costs. I also worked within Head office for Woolworth's PLC I mainly worked on new concept stores and planned out store conversions for over 30 stores over 2 years. This position gave me a real insight into multi-site management and dealing with all areas of the business on a day to day basis.
