About Phil Lewin

As a professional photographer, my goal is to produce high-quality imagery at value-for-money prices, with flexible options for customers. I have undertaken a number of professional engagements and several quasi-professional engagements. In June 2009, I covered my first solo wedding, and in October 2007 I was paid to cover a concert for a local band. I have now covered more than 30 weddings, and am eager to cover many more. Each one is as unique as the people getting married. Wedding photography has taken me to some wonderful places, from Alveston Manor Hotel in Stratford-on-Avon to the Exmoor church featured in RD Blackmore's Lorna Doone novels, which featured in BBC TV's 'Countryfile' programme a few years back. My most recent weddings include three in South Wales, ranging from Ystrad Mynach Register Office, which despite being housed in a modern office building, has lovely grounds which lend themselves perfectly to wedding photography, to Llansteffan, near Carmarthen. Quasi-professional wise, my most significant engagements came in 2005, when during September & October I photographed my HMCS colleagues for their photo ID badges, and in December when I was asked to photograph a relation's wedding ceremony at the last minute. I have since been asked to re-photograph colleagues for HMCTS. Bookkeeping I undertook the IAB Level 2 & 3 Bookkeeping courses during 2007-2009, to give me a better understanding of that subject.
