What I used to do - over 28 years experience as a Senior Manager in the Royal Navy, working primarily in the areas of training and development strategy, policy, planning, delivery, also within project, risk and change management and business support. Retirement hobby; hands-on woodland management - handling a chainsaw as often as I can, usually when the sun shines. Key Skills •Ground-based chainsaw work, including coppicing and tree-felling. • Planning and Project and Change Management, able to deliver complex plans across internal and external organisational boundaries, aligning training, personnel and equipment procurement programmes. • Risk management for large projects and programmes, including in-depth analysis to articulate risks and plan mitigation activities and problem solving. • Able to lead multi-disciplinary teams. • Planning and project decision support to Board-level.
