About Phil Marshman

After completing my health science degree and gaining clinical experience in both the private and public health sectors, I opened the doors of Pioneer Podiatry in Mackay. Shortly after, we had a second practice open in Sarina and over 10 years later, I still enjoy working with our talented team to provide the best in foot and leg health care. Professionally, my greatest achievement is the team culture we have at Pioneer Podiatry. I love to see people find their niche and absolutely nail it. One of the favourite parts of my working life is being able to use my clinical experience to mentor our team towards providing the highest quality care possible. I have found that the ability to explain complicated concepts relating to human movement and injury, in ways that can help anyone understand, as one of the reasons why many other health services choose to partner with Pioneer Podiatry to deliver exceptional client care. We are also well known for ethical excellence, professionalism, and friendliness. My personal passion is transformation, whether it be bringing a client out of suffering, or cultural change in general – which is how my second business was founded. My wife Alexes and I are the owners of Third Ground Coffee House, a café in Sarina that is based on the principle of connecting people with great local food, excellent coffee, and each other. At home, my wife and I live with our three children, nine goats, one deer and a fluctuating amount of chickens.
