About Phil McManus

I am a consultant, coach, founder, and executive with over 15 years of experience in building and scaling secure and innovative digital businesses across various industries and markets. At Alumni Services I am a growth leader, leveraging data and machine learning to optimize customer acquisition and retention. I coach both MNCs and scale-ups to grow securely and enhance their cybersecurity posture and resilience in the face of evolving threats and challenges. I am also the Chair of the Innovation and Technology Committee at The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, where I collaborate with leaders and experts from diverse sectors to foster a vibrant and forward-looking innovation ecosystem in the city. In 2019, I founded Human Managed, a cybersecurity platform in South East Asia. I successfully grew and exited the startup in 2022, after securing multiple contracts and partnerships with leading organizations. My passion is to empower businesses and individuals to achieve their goals and potential through the use of technology, while managing and mitigating the risks and uncertainties that come with it. I am a lifelong learner and a proud alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, HKUST Business School, and Singapore Management University. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
