About Phil Pergola

I recently stepped down as CEO of CloudZero after four years of scaling the business 20x and establishing it as a category leader in FinOps. During that time, we built a platform helping companies understand and optimize cloud, data, and AI spend through the lens of unit economics. What I’m most proud of isn’t just the growth we achieved, but the team we built along the way. That experience reinforced a core belief: great companies are ultimately built by great teams, and evolving those teams as you scale is one of the hardest parts of the job. Prior to CloudZero, I’ve spent my career across both enterprise software companies and startups, focused on driving durable growth across the full customer lifecycle - from acquisition and onboarding through adoption, expansion, and retention. My next chapter will put my operator experience front and center - whether that’s another CEO role, co-founding something new, or joining an early-stage team as a founder or operator. I don’t have a precise destination yet, but I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead.
