About Phil Rapp

In my early career I spent many years in event production. I specialized in what was known as "Business Theater" and worked with clients such as The White House Communications Department, The United Nations, Super Bowl Committees, and The International Olympic Committee. In the corporate world I produced events that range in location from hotel ballrooms to professional sports arenas. Corporate clients have included Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, American Greetings, Ernst and Young, Forbes Management Conferences, Progressive Insurance, Office Max, and a list of many others. I also dabbled in production of city-wide events such as the Grand Opening of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the Olympic Mascot Introduction Event/Broadcast, the International Children’s Games, and the Inauguration and Inaugural Balls for the Governor of Ohio, just to name a few. More and more these became broadcast productions and I spent time helping clients such as ESPN, Fox Sports, MSNBC, NBC and a wide range of private telecasts for corporate clients such as General Electric and National City Bank. Along the way I began working in Systems Design and assembled a consulting business that designed systems for Houses of Worship, theaters and the business worlds, working with some of the most advanced technology available today. After 15+ years in my own business, I moved into working for other companies in Media Systems engineering and specializing in construction projects. As broadcast systems turned to HD, I found myself working on projects to update studios, editing suites and production trucks to the newer standards in technology. With the growth in this area, I am now in a position where I manage projects for Enterprise clients such as Amazon, Walmart and Moderna. I am always looking for a new challenge!
