Background
About Phil Schultz
I am an experienced not-for-profit leader dedicated to helping young Queenslanders reach their full potential by connecting them with inspiring role models and impactful programs. I have spent the past nine years of a 26-year career in the NFP sector as the first civilian CEO of PCYC Queensland, leading efforts to rebuild and renew operations to strengthen the delivery and impact of our youth programs and services across our clubs and initiatives, while managing an $800 million property portfolio. Prior to joining PCYC, I was State Director for Mission Australia in Queensland and the Northern Territory where I transformed operations and influenced government policy across important issues affecting Queenslanders. I also have the privilege of being Chair of the Queensland State Award Committee for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. It’s an honour to support a globally respected program which helps young people build confidence, resilience, and skills which last a lifetime.
