About Phil Taiclet

Retired Navy SEAL and professional bowler, currently working for Lockheed Martin as an IT Associate Systems Engineer. My family recently relocated from Virginia to Florida, where I was employed as a Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) manager with Knight Federal Solutions, supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff. I recently earned my CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Cloud+ certifications and am working toward completing my Network+ certification. As a recently retired veteran, I am continuously working to improve my skills and earn certifications to expand my future opportunities. I also earned my M.B.A. and added the PMP certification to my credentials, which I hope to leverage in more senior roles. I am always open to new opportunities and challenges in the Melbourne/Orlando area.Professionally, I am a retired U.S. Navy SEAL with top secret / SCI security clearance and 20 years of experience in a demanding, high-stakes environment. I have a strong ability to bring deep knowledge and objectivity to problem sets, along with an instinctive skill in reading people and situations to create resourceful solutions. I am accomplished in individual tasks and providing objective input to teams. I am a skilled communicator in senior-level, multi-national, and joint-force environments during worldwide deployments. My extensive knowledge includes operations, personnel management, security, risk mitigation, training, and team development.Outside of work, I have always had a natural inclination to view things from alternative and objective perspectives. Attention to detail helped me achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) member. The thrill of competition and the sport's focus on precision continue to fuel my desire to learn. I am humbled to have the chance to compete alongside the best bowlers in the nation and learn firsthand from the pros on TV. I am always striving to improve my bowling skills and to spend quality time with my family after years of deployments and training trips.
