As an Imaging Specialist Field Application Engineer for Ametek’s Phantom High Speed Cameras within the Materials Analysis Division, there is nothing more exciting to me than seeing others with passion for learning and achieving within the scientific imaging space, with the same vigour that I aim to demonstrate to others. Pushing the limits of imaging technology through advanced hardware gives us the tools whilst patient, thorough guidance in application delivers results. Dedication to this cause has been at the forefront of projects that I have spearheaded and continue to develop or facilitate. These include new and emerging applications in metrology, Phantom Academy and Distributor Academy High-Speed scientific imaging courses, on-boarding new staff and distribution channels globally, internal consultation on new product design, and creation of engaging programs at Regional and Global Sales Meetings. Being Responsible for Application Engineering support throughout China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, Australasia, the Pacific and India, I have strong skills in cross-culture communications, appreciating regional sensitivities whilst being able to dynamically motivate customers, direct sales people and distribution channels in both practical aspects of high-speed imaging and best-in-class technical sales strategy delivery. The forefront of imaging technology is actively improving quality of life and being a beneficiary of this drives me to be involved in any way I can. I look forward to working with similarly motivated people as my career develops.
