Mentoring staff to be creative and innovative to produce products for manufacture using Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly methods/processes whilst always looking at the environmental impact based on material choice and production processes. Have successfully led teams to win major international projects with Australian and Multi national On all projects where I was given a scope with objectives to meet, I have diligently met these objectives by firstly understanding fully what the customer or end user wanted from a product/service. Initiated and produced design standards to reduce time spent on re design. Continuous Improvement approach when looking at processes and products to minimise waste at all levels and types, root cause analysis and problem solving is a major component in attacking waste
