About Phil Winch

Having arrived in Norfolk, VA by way of my home country of Canada I have again found myself in a fascinating business enterprise, leading its sector in a global context, called Massey Emergency Management. I've been blessed to work in industries and with leaders with incredible vision and passion like I've found at my current organization. I initiated and helped organize the first ever photo exhibition by a NASA astronaut, Col. Chris Hadfield, whose six month Int'l Space Station journey in 2012 made him the first prominent social media astronaut. I had the joy of planning and introducing the newest Masters Golf Champion as part of his charity fundraising team, as well as The Great One, also at a Mike Weir event. I have arranged media programs for a wide variety of industry sectors, helped fund and raise awareness for one of the world's largest youth call centers, given speeches to entire schools small groups and conferences, and learned the ins and outs of event management by working my way up from the ground level. I've built comprehensive business marketing plans and promoted communities through major media tours, 10-day trade shows, and integrated advertising plans. In all situations and opportunities, even dating back to running a painting company for 5 years in high school, the single thread to success I've observed has always been good customer services and personal relationships.
