About Philip Armond

I am currently attending Brigham Young University, and I work as a part time student as a Customer Service Representative. I am working on receiving my bachelor’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Epidemiology. I grew up working on a family cattle ranch, and over the Summer, working as a Head Guard at Riverside Country Club's Pool. While there I help teach CPR and First Aid and Swim lessons. In high school I got my Medical Assistant certification and interned at the Utah Surgical Association. I speak Mandarin and German. I am certified in CPR/AED, First-Aid, Life Guarding, Stop The Bleed, WSI, and as a Medical Assistant. In my free time, I enjoy working on cars, as well as studying languages and poetry. My current interests include working with any epidemiological research, as well as the research parts of the medical field. My goal in my education is to grow familiar enough with health research and policy that I can help write legislation to benefit everyday Americans.
