About Philip Doherty

I am currently studying an MA in International Tourism in the University of Limerick. I have completed my bachelor degree in Business Studies with a major in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology. After achieving an award for Outstanding Achievement in Business whilst attending Secondary School, I knew I had made the right choice to pursue Business Studies at University Level which is why I chose the BBS program that UL have to offer. This course gives students a 360 degree experience in many areas of the business world such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, to Marketing, Risk Management, Human Resources and Entrepreneurship before choosing which area to major in. I have been travelling for most of my adult life enjoying and embracing different world cultures. I have studied abroad for a semester in France and a summer in South Korea which really opened my eyes into the business world outside of Ireland. I have great interests in working abroad in the near future to expand my experience and knowledge of other companies in countries around the world.
