Eastman excels with the support of a performance-driven leader overseeing the Chemicals & Technology Maintenance Department. Philip’s focus remains on creating a safety-conscious work environment while enhancing industrial equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance workflows, and equipping the leadership team. A collaborative approach ensures seamless crew supervision and alignment with organizational goals. Previously, the Idaho National Laboratory benefited from over five years of leadership in maintenance, where safety and operational efficiency were top priorities. Consistently fostering team cohesion and operational improvements, Philip brings a safety-conscious, results-oriented mindset to every challenge. Philip offers extensive experience in nuclear operations, maintenance, and training. He gained his knowledge from roles as a Naval Reactor Operator, as well as leadership roles in commercial nuclear operations, maintenance, and training throughout his career. He has also led teams at the Nevada National Security Site and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Philip achieved a Masters of Science from Michigan State University in Management, Strategy, & Leadership and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Excelsior University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude at both universities.
