About Philip Higgins

I graduated with a degree in Popular Music Production in July 2013. My third year of the course was a placement year, in which I worked for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. I continued this position whilst studying in my final year, balancing my coursework and final year dissertation with my part-time work. After my graduation, I was offered a full-time position in the technical department and have worked hard to increase standards of event production. This has included the opening of a brand new secondary venue, which is already recognised as a key part of Liverpool's live music scene in such a short space of time. At both University and at the Philharmonic Hall, I have proven that I have the skills and knowledge that allow me to work well both individually and as part of a team in demanding, high-pressured situations. I am looking to further my career in the entertainment industry, willing to work in any discipline, including audio production for radio, television, film and live events.
