About Philip Jones

Hello, I began my professional life as an analytical professional developing comprehensive experience in caseload management, service development, staff management, and care plan implementation within NHS. Further time was then spent working in education, and the private healthcare sector. I developed skills in planning, coordinating, and managing patient care keeping in compliance with facility and hospital standards. I have a proven record of accomplishments in developing and implementing training programmes and materials to ensure constant staff education and development. I have the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Having taken 3 years away to broaden horizons I returned to nurse education with renewed passion being involved with leading the newly launched future nurse curriculum at Birmingham city university. I then moved to my current post in public health education to complement my PhD studies. I have also developed further expertise in charity management and have been engaged with a variety of consultancy work over the last ten years. I am passionate about social justice and global justice and believe that especially in times of climate change there is need to recognise a sense of common humanity.
