Many years of financial control experience at the Dutch and EMEA operations of international companies in the IT, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors as well as the Big 4 made me very familiar with the financial management of internationally operating companies. I particularly enjoy when an organisation is changing fast (rapid growth, acquisition, takeover, start-up) or there's a problem that needs fixing. Working in financial communications taught me to quickly zoom in to identify and communicate what's important and what sets companies apart. My outlook is international and I’m curious about new and changing situations. Native English speaker with Dutch and French as second languages and good writing skills. Chartered Accountant. I have a good understanding of cross-border tax planning, VAT (including intra-community transactions and One-Stop-Shop), transfer pricing, revenue recognition, treasury and payroll processes. I enjoy explaining these to whoever wants to listen, and combine the full picture with an eye for detail.
