Leadership isn’t only about technical skills. High-engagement organizations have operating margins 75% higher than low-engagement ones. Net profit margins are up to 300% higher versus low-engagement companies. However, most organizations either don’t or can’t measure the 14 different categories of metrics to excel. Thus, Employee Engagement is becoming an ever greater area of opportunity in Leadership Development, affecting both Top Line Revenue and Bottom Line ROI. I thrive at developing programs to train managers and professionals in leadership development, engagement, and to improve productivity. Leaders and teams gain through my unique Operations and Board Room experiences. Since I’ve sat at the table, I understand the personal drivers that senior leaders manage daily. However, I've also been on the front lines and understand what propels great customer service. I’ve had to overcome the depression of circumstances, started three companies from scratch, traveled and gone to school overseas, and nearly died from a life threatening illness. So, what do I bring to the table? Real Life Experience to go along with my professional credentials and accomplishments. I create a safe and creative space for leaders to grow and change. I’m not afraid to challenge the status quo because when I build a program, or coach a leader, I want them to win. None of us are getting out of life alive. All of us face our struggles. As leaders, it’s incumbent on us to push ourselves and our teams. • I pushed myself to drop 50 lbs and 8 inches off my waist- Did it. Now I’ve set a new goal. • I pushed myself to learn how to eat, walk again and return to work- Did it 2.5 months after nearly dying. • I’ve pushed myself to learn how to work with talented people from all over the world- Still doing it. • I’ve been blessed to train hundreds of Fortune 500 leaders- Still love doing it. • Now I'm creating a system to tackle a greater problem than myself- Family Homelessness. Leadership development, training, and coaching require a holistic approach to be successful. Nothing is ever one size fits all and technology is changing too fast to sit still. The process leaders progress through is going to encourage them to become better and have #realconversations. There is no second best when you lead yourself, your family, and your team. You must always focus on your highest priorities and strive to achieve them, or people can get hurt. I’m still here and I’m pushing myself to become more and better every day. Let’s do it together.
