About Philip Marjeram

As the Director of Information Technology at KPMB Architects, I have over 12 years of experience in leading and managing all aspects of technology at the firm, including software, hardware, networking, security, telephony, and office maintenance. I also oversee strategic initiatives that align with the firm's vision and goals, such as digital practice, BIM, and health and safety. I have successfully implemented several key projects that have enhanced the firm's IT capabilities, efficiency, and resilience, such as virtualizing the server infrastructure, consolidating the CRM and databases, migrating to Office 365, and upgrading the cyber security. I have also enabled the firm to adapt to the changing needs and challenges of the AEC market, such as enabling full-remote work during the COVID pandemic, relocating to a new office with zero downtime, and introducing and standardizing Autodesk technology. I lead a team of six IT professionals, and I am responsible for the annual IT budget and spend, as well as the talent development and retention strategies. I am also the chair of the Health and Safety Committee, and I have implemented policies and protocols to ensure the well-being of the staff and the compliance with the regulations.
