About Philip Singleton

As the Chief of Staff in the US Congress, I am responsible for all facets of a congressional office, including budgets, staff, legislative efforts, and strategy. With over six years of experience in politics and government, I have developed skills in legislative strategy, government relations, communication, and relationship building. I work closely with US and foreign government agencies, foreign military leaders, and senior executive leaders to achieve results and advance the interests of our constituents and the nation. I have an extensive background in program management, process improvement, and operational and organizational leadership positions. I really enjoy my job when I am working in a complex and highly adaptive environment with ever changing constraints, am responsible for building relationships outside of the organization, and am building and leading a highly capable team. I excel most at turning a vision in to actionable and measurable steps and find that I am often able to navigate complex regulatory, political, or procedural hurdles with ease. I am a passionate communicator, able to articulate purpose and direction to inspire my team to achieve outstanding results. A continuous learner, I am an avid reader and believe in the power of self-reflection and self-improvement. I have worked closely with US and foreign government agencies, foreign military leaders, and leaders at the most senior executive level and know that I am able to achieve results and be a valued member of any team.
