What I'm doing now: By day, COMSOL simulation and experimental work on plasma ion sources and electronic design. By night, continuing research to improve Neutral Atom Microscopy.(I have the second successful NAM in the world, the present resolution record holder, and which also obtained the first reflection mode images done with a neutral atom beam.) Published a third scientific journal article. Continuing the NAM research with support from a large IC manufacturer. Generally, always learning nano-scale engineering and physics, and the design of tools to do it. How I started First love was electronic circuit design. Studied circuit design and software starting at age 14. Many years experience as a design engineer, a mix of electronic hardware and software work, primarily microcomputer systems, instrumentation/analog circuit design and real-time software. MS/Physics, Portland State University, 8/2013 Specialties: Applied Physics Microscopy Analog circuit design and instrumentation Embedded systems Nano-scale engineering (as a future direction)
