About Philipp Beham

I’m an embedded systems engineer with many years of experience working in the automotive and semiconductor industry. First starting out as a hardware-engineer I gained important experience in chip design and prototyping on development platforms. Later specializing in software development in C and C++ this deep understanding of the underlying hardware is an invaluable advantage to fully utilize an embedded systems capacity, understanding its limitations and being able to assess and fix problems. As part of my professional activities I also traveled to many international companies for trainings, project accompaniment and on-site support/debugging. I firmly believe in lifelong learning and continue to educate myself in various current and future technical fields like machine learning, computer vision, signal processing, CAD modelling and additive manufacturing. My key skills include: Professional experience in C and C++ development on embedded systems. Development in Assembler, VHDL, C#, Matlab, Python. Development for various operating systems including Windows, Linux, T-Kernel, Green Hills Integrity RTOS. Hardware and laboratory experience in prototyping on FPGA, microcontroller systems, DSP, PCB-design, prototype assembly, SMT rework, oscilloscope and logic analyzer.
