Robotics engineer with experience in state-of-the-art SLAM and sensor fusion algorithms, as well as hands-on engineering across full-stack product development.At CSIRO in Australia, I focused on lifelong localization using 3D LiDARs for UGVs in GPS-denied environments, resulting in a publication at IROS. This research laid the foundation for robust, multi-environment navigation systems.At Hexagon Technology Center, I worked in a highly specialized algorithmic role—developing core components for Leica’s BLK product line (BLK3D, BLK2GO, BLK2FLY). My focus was on pose estimation and point cloud generation, integrating LiDAR, visual, IMU, and GNSS data. I consistently applied system-level thinking to ensure seamless interaction between algorithmic modules and maintain a clear view of the overall architecture.At Mint & Pepper (Wyss Zurich), I took full ownership of engineering on a multidisciplinary project—working hands-on across hardware prototyping, embedded software, and system integration. I collaborated with educational experts, managed procurement, and coordinated outsourced components to deliver a complete solution. This role demanded adaptability, initiative, and end-to-end execution.Outside of engineering, I co-founded a café that evolved into a local cultural hub—hosting events, fostering community, and sharpening my skills in leadership, operations, and human-centered design. In 2024, I completed a 16-month cycling expedition through Latin America and the Balkans—a transformative journey that deepened my resilience, broadened my perspective, and reinforced my ability to adapt and problem-solve in unpredictable environments.I’m now seeking opportunities where I can apply my technical depth, hands-on mindset, and cross-functional experience to build impactful systems and teams.
